リーガルロイヤルホテルはまた泊まりたいなと思わせてくれたホテルでした!(Translated by Google)Regal Royal Hotel's views, room cleanliness, service, and detailed amenities are all perfect. However, I thought the most appealing thing was the attentiveness of the staff. We booked two rooms for the four of us, but one of the rooms had not been cleaned yet, so we were unable to receive the one drink and free ticket to the museum that we were supposed to receive when we explained the room. .The service here was so satisfying that I wasn't even angry about not getting one, so I went to the front desk to get the free ticket I couldn't get. Then, the staff apologized and gave me a free drink as compensation.I was very moved by the staff's flexible response in turning what was originally supposed to have ended with the customer receiving a free ticket into a positive event (even though it was assumed that the customer would have felt uncomfortable).I've stayed at many hotels overseas, but I don't think I've ever found a hotel that offers this kind of extra consideration.Since it was called Regal Royal Hotel, I thought it was a Western hotel, so I looked it up, but it turned out to be a Japanese hotel, so I thought, ``Ah, I see.''I think you can stay in a nice and clean hotel in pretty much any country if you pay for it.However, it is wonderful that they have everything you would want to have, such as face masks, bath salts, and a wide variety of sweets and drinks. (Maybe it was because it was on the executive floor!)Regal Royal Hotel was a hotel that made me want to stay again!

Stayed for three nights on 28th floor. Good view of Hiroshima Castle and surrounding city. Room was good size. Bed comfortable. Had all amenities we needed. Very friendly staff for check in and out. Location is good for Peace Park area. Close to public transport.

A nice decision for you to stay in this hotel. I was staying during golden week and even the hotel is quite occupied, all of the staffs were very helpful. The check-in and check-out process were also very easy. They are also English friendly, so no need to worry about the language barrier. By the way, I stayed with my Japanese partner, but to be honest, I found out no difficulties in using the hotel facilities as they are also providing the information in English. I do love the bathroom so much, it is very spacious and large compared with my usual Japanese sized bathroom in my own apartment, so I do believe this hotel is also tourist friendly not only for Japanese but also foreigners.

Completely outdated! The furniture and the style of the hotel are old and would need serious renovation. The staff didn't speak English, was rude and applied very strict and stupid rules. They refused the kids at the swimming pool, while they waited for it all day, they refused my husband because he was to honest and said that he had a tiny tattoo even if covered by a strap and they refused me at the swimming because I came directly in bedding suit with a wardrobe as in any other hotel.

Only stayed one night but hotel was very comfortable and well appointed. Location is outstanding near all the memorials, museum and restaurants. Breakfast catered for all palates. Easy to get to via street car if you enjoy making your own way to locations.

A nice hotel with good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The single rooms are a bit small but according to Japanese "Standard". Be early in the morning when you go to breakfast. They organize the access which is good because the buffet doesnt get overrun this way but on the other hand, there is a queue in front of the breakfast hall. I would go again to this hotel. If you are on the "right" floor you also have a nice view over the city.

Very dated Hotel, The Beds were awful very old( yellow/ faded orange) spring mattress that actually hurt my back, the bathroom was extremely small, and the worst was the AC was broken. The air filter for it was very dirty and blocked any air in it. Making the room very hot. Also the Pool and Spa area cost an additional fee which we didn’t realize and made us not use them. For the price that we were charged we were expecting a much better experience.Should have canceled the booking.

Hands down the best hotel to stay in Hiroshima.Watanabe (hotel staff) was fantastic in detailing our room facilities and explaining the sites visible from our room (which were incredible views of the rebuilt Imperial Castle). We wanted to take her home she was so good. Our room was on the 30th floor and we'll worth it for the view alone. The restaurants, bars, and staff will go out of their way to help and make your stay as good as ours.Thank you, RHIGA Hiroshima.

I had a very nice stay here. My room was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. (The furnishings do seem a little dated, but not everything has to look ultra-modern all the time!) The bed was comfortable. Plenty of storage space. The bathroom was large and clean, and the shower had good water pressure. I had a fantastic view of the art museum and Hiroshima castle.Staff were warm and friendly. My room included a buffet breakfast that was terrific, but be prepared for a long line at peak times (but even then, things moved pretty quickly). There's a nice convenience store in the lobby as well, and it's nice that they don't gouge you with high prices there.Wi-fi was reasonably fast. I didn't try the pool or fitness center.Location is great -- very close to major sites like the art museum, Hiroshima castle, and the main shopping district. The main drawback is that it's not that close to the train station, but it was a pleasant day, so I didn't mind the 25 minute walk. (Obviously, you can also take a taxi, bus, or streetcar without difficulty, but I wanted to stretch my legs.)

If you can overlook the 80s vibes, this hotel is incredible. Huge rooms, with an incredible view over Hiroshima. So close to important landmarks , we were able to walk everywhere we needed. The staff are so friendly and helpful and they have everything you need at the hotel. It was my partner's birthday and they left us a little flower and a birthday note, such a nice touch. The bed was huge and super comfortable.Despite the fact this hotel definitely needs a face lift, the stay was awesome and we would definitely go back there. We also loved the hotel bar on the 33rd floor. You get two cocktails for 2000 yen with some little bar snacks for happy hour!

Honestly i was a bit disappointed with the stay. On the positive side the view and room size are great. But the hotel is quite aged and furniture e.g. could use an update. With regard to the friendliness i was a bit surprised as both at the welcome and in the bar we had a somewhat mixed experience. Perhaps a language barrier issue though.

I recently had a less-than-pleasant experience at the Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima, which I feel compelled to share. My visit was marred right from the start due to an error on my part; I mistakenly booked a smoking room instead of a non-smoking room. Aware of my mistake, I approached the hotel staff with the hope that they could accommodate my request for a change.Unfortunately, my request was promptly rejected with the explanation that there were no non-smoking rooms available. This was a major disappointment, especially considering my sensitivity to smoke. What added to my frustration was finding out later that this claim was not entirely accurate. A quick check on their website post-rejection revealed that there were, in fact, non-smoking rooms available for the duration of my stay. While I accept full responsibility for the initial booking error, I was disheartened by the hotel's response to my situation. The hospitality industry often prides itself on going the extra mile for guests, especially when it comes to accommodating their health and comfort needs. Unfortunately, it seems the Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima missed an opportunity to demonstrate this level of service. Being told there were no available rooms when there clearly were, felt misleading and soured my overall experience. It's crucial for hotels to offer flexibility and understanding, particularly when guests are willing to correct their mistakes at their own expense. This incident has certainly impacted my view of the Rihga Royal Hotel Hiroshima and has made me reconsider whether I would stay there again or recommend it to others.

Was given free drinks voucher for the rooftop. Server was a bit abrupt, quite unusual for Japan. After giving us the drinks menu, no one approached for quite a long time so we just left. Also, pool and sauna have extra fees which were not indicated in their website. They were the reason for me choosing this hotel.Otherwise, reception was very helpful. Breakfast was extensive. Room was large and views were awesome.

A Disappointing Experience at the HotelI recently had one of the strangest experiences during my stay at a hotel. My partner and I booked an executive room for three nights, and I simply requested additional bottles of water. To my surprise, the staff informed me that only two bottles were complimentary, with no option for more. It struck me as an odd policy for guests in an executive room. The following day, while I was in the lobby, I noticed a couple staying on the standard floor. They were freely taking multiple bottles of water from a table in the lobby. It left me puzzled as to why standard floor guests had more freedom to access water than those of us in the executive section.Overall, my stay at the hotel was disappointing, especially since I had high expectations before arriving.

An excellent (but expensive) pool and sauna complex with a 25m pool is this hotel’s best feature. Very well located to Peace Park. Otherwise it has an impersonal bus tours vibe - lanes for checkin, queues for breakfast, average food and occasionally brusque staff. The room was fine but a bit tired.

The hotel is getting on in years and its best days are obviously behind it. The beds in our room were very uncomfortable and the mattresses were so worn out that I had back pain after the first night. The service leaves a lot to be desired and most of the staff hardly speak any English. I can't recommend the hotel for families either, as it is not very child-friendly. The only positive aspects are the location (very close to the monuments) and the view from the upper floors. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel again.

We stayed here for one night at the 22nd floor. The room view was breath-taking, especially at night, overlooking the city of Hiroshima. Rooms were very spacious, cozy, clean and had a vintage look.No availability of drinking water.Less breakfast options for vegans.

Nice hotel in a good location for sightseeing. Rooms are ok but a little tired and lacked plug sockets (only one one side of bed for us). Lovely staff, nice reception area, top floor resturant was nice, breakfast selection was good.

Location was perfect, short walk to the peace park and a ferry to Miyajima. Our room was on the corner facing the atomic bomb dome and the sea, so it was a beautiful view. Decor is a bit outdated but there was still plenty of outlets and it was comfortable. There was a bit of confusion when we tried to send our luggage onto Tokyo but ultimately we were able to get it figured out.

I was looking forward to relaxing in the pool at the end of the day but was disappointed to find that the pool, spa and gym carry an additional fee. Not only was the additional fee expensive but the pool area doesn’t open in the mornings before check out. Whilst the room was large and had a nice view, the hotel overall felt dated and unwelcoming. Staff were accomodating with storing our bags.

Good location for seeing Hiroshima, easy to get to the main points of interest, is on the main tourist bus route. Good breakfast with both Western and Japanese food.

If you get a corner room you will have stunning views over Hiroshima. Location is great for the Peace Park. Hotel has a definite 90s corporate vibe but still good and rooms were a good size. Would recommend the pool - you need to pay for the pleasure (about Y4,000) but a great way to chill

The view is spectacular, especially from the higher floors. The hotel feels a bit old and dusty, but the service was good, the rooms were big and clean and the location was excellent.
